The lesson you have planned sounds good. You have planned for 4 lessons. The podcast itself will only be used in the 1st lesson? Suguna.

Hi Suguna,
Yes, I'll only be using the podcast in one lesson... the rest is enrichment lesson.
Did think of asking my students to prepare their own podcast but that'll depend on whether they know how to do so!
Any suggestions?

In my experience, ss are happy to work with this sort of thing when they have interest or are knowledgable in IT. I think, a brief introduction will put them in the right direction. Group assignment may work here. Boys are especially good at this.

Bharati, I have listened to your podcast, without the benefit of a speaker, so it does sound soft. But it was like that even when we were recording it at the language lab, right?
Perhaps it would be better to not mix the music and the narration.
Am still working on my podcast(!)
Suguna.

Hi Suguna,
Thanks for comments! yes, I had a tough time trying to record my voice and to make it loud enough. Wasn't very good at reducing the music volume so that it is in the background....maybe next time!

Take care.
